Spartan Emergency Response Vehicles (ERV) launched the Emergency Response Platform on Demand (ER POD) concept unit.
The Spartan ER POD concept equips crews for the unknowns of natural disasters, urban search and rescue, mass casualty EMS incidents, hazmat, mobile communications, crime scene incidents and other needs. It allows for multiple response capabilities with one chassis, the company said.
Interior aluminum extrusions allow for flexible storage within the ER POD. Fire departments can easily modify and change the ER POD to best fit their storage and equipment needs.
The layout of the ER POD provides single or dual room access, includes side or front door entrance and is available in 16 or 19-feet layouts.
