Honeywell First Responder Products Purchases Naming Rights For New Fire Protection Engineering Lab

DAYTON, Ohio – Honeywell (NYSE: HON) First Responder Products (HFRP), a division of Honeywell Life Safety (HLS), and the makers of Morning Pride and Ranger protective clothing for firefighters, announced today its intent to purchase the naming rights to the Worcester Polytechnic Institute’s (WPI) new Fire Protection Engineering Lab.

The new lab will be called the “Honeywell Life Safety Fire Protection Engineering Lab” both at the physical location and in all promotional and communication materials associated with the lab.”

HLS has agreed to pay $250,000 over five years in exchange for this. Sponsoring this new lab is a natural fit for both HLS and HFRP.
