September 19, 2012 – The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Certification Department announced today that it is teaming up with Schroeder Measurement Technologies (SMT) to increase the geographic availability of its Certified Fire Inspector I certification examinations.
Through its sister company, Iso-Quality Testing (IQT), SMT maintains a testing center network of carefully selected partners, including college/university testing centers and computer-related businesses to provide testing services in a secure, proctored environment. Testing centers are available in over 300 cities in 19 countries.
“Previously we offered only paper-based examinations to a limited number of proctors and this new joint work with SMT provides our constituents with improved exam availability with hundreds of locations to choose from, and offers a more secure testing environment,” said Larry McDonald, certification project manager for NFPA.
