National Fallen Firefighters Foundation to hold new Yarnell Hill Fire webinar discussion

This webinar will be recorded and posted in our Fire Service Resources section following the event.

EMMITSBURG, Md. — The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation launched its Incident Commander-to-Incident Commander (IC to IC) Network in 2020 to support incident commanders involved in a firefighter fatality.

This webinar will feature Chief Eric Kriwer, who was involved with the Prescott Fire Department after the tragic loss of 19 of their members at the Yarnell Hill fire on June 30, 2013.

Join Chief Kriwer and NFFF National LAST Coordinator Ian Bennett as they discuss the incident, its aftermath, the impact it had on Chief Kriwer and insight into what happens when an incident commander suffers a line-of-duty death on their watch.

No pre-registration required for this webinar. Please use the following link at 1:00 p.m. EST on April 23, 2020, to access the training: https://zoom.us/j/896848397?status=success.
