WILMINGTON, Del. — A fire truck was responding to a gas leak Thursday when it was hit by a stray bullet from a nearby homicide scene.
6ABC.com reported the tire of the Wilmington (Del.) Fire Department rig was struck by the bullet and flattened.
The tire was secured by police for evaluation.
Down the street, one man was shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene.
