CENTREVILLE, Va. — A fire truck has fallen victim to the slippery weather conditions in Fairfax County Tuesday morning.

Captain Willie Bailey, spokesman for the Fairfax County Fire Department, says Fire Truck 438 became stuck while leaving the scene of a lockout call in the parking lot of a townhome community in the 6000 block of Westbourne Place in Centreville.

Bailey says the firefighters attempted to maneuver the truck after it became stuck, but were unable to free themselves without risking damage to other vehicles.

A VDOT salt crew arrived to help them free the fire truck.
