Mo. fire truck catches fire while parked at station
Crews inside the station heard a loud popping noise; they found the truck on fire

GRANDVIEW, Mo. — A fire truck parked at a fire station caught fire Sunday.
FOX4KC.com reported that the ladder truck was parked in a bay when firefighters heard a loud popping noise; they went to the apparatus bay and found the truck on fire.
A fire truck from a nearby station was used to extinguish the fire. A tow truck pulled the truck out of the bay.
The $1 million truck suffered smoke damage; it will be sent for repairs and will have re-wiring work done.
No injuries were reported.
