The Brunswick (N.Y.) Fire Company No. 1 has taken delivery of a 2005 Monarch custom pumper from Sutphen. The engine/rescue unit features a 10" raised roof, a Detroit Series 60 455-hp engine, an Allison 4000 EVS transmission, a Hale CAFS Pro system, a Hale Qmax 1,500-gpm pump, a 500-gallon water and 30-gallon Class A foam tank and a Will-Burt light tower. Other equipment includes an Onan generator, Code 3 LED warning lights, a Federal Q2B siren, Robinson compartment lighting and painted roll-up doors.
