The Lower Valley (Colo.) Fire District has taken delivery of a pumper/tanker from Pierce. The apparatus, built on a Pierce chassis that seats six, features a Detroit Diesel 455-hp engine; a Waterous CSUY 1,500-gpm, single-stage pump; air brakes; a 1,000-gallon polypropylene water tank; an Onan hydraulic generator; and a Code 3 siren.
