Luxfer Gas Cylinders launched ECLIPSE, the company’s new carbon composite cylinder for firefighter SCBAs, at FDIC 2018.
ECLIPSE, which is an acronym for Extra-lightweight Cylinders by Luxfer for Industry Professionals in SCBA Environments, is a lightweight SCBA cylinder. The cylinders come in a standard 4,500-psi (300-bar) version as well as a higher-pressure 5,500-psi (379-bar) option. Each have a variety of air capacities and duration times.
