Westnet welcomes David Nokes as chief executive officer and Armory Capital as partner

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. — Westnet LLC, the industry leader in fire station alerting and dispatch systems, is excited to announce the appointment of David Nokes as its Chief Executive Officer and the addition of Armory Capital as a partner with the Matheny family.

Nokes, with deep experience serving the public safety sector, brings a wealth of knowledge to Westnet. Most recently, David was CEO of Emergency Reporting, and led a team providing software to thousands of fire departments and emergency service personnel in the United States, Canada, Europe and Australia. Nokes commented, “I am honored to have the opportunity to join the Westnet team. Before his passing earlier this year, Richard “Dick” Matheny, founder of Westnet and pioneer of modern fire station alerting systems, led the effort to bring Nokes to Westnet and to position the company to continue to innovate and grow by partnering with Armory Capital. Dawn Matheny, President, and Kelly Matheny, VP Business Development, believe Armory is the ideal partner to help Westnet enhance solutions and service for Westnet’s customers.
