ANTRIM, NH – A new volunteer fire department serving a school for children and adults with brain damage is requesting donations of firefighting tools.
Marc Mosher, a volunteer firefighter for Antrim Fire, and Bennington Fire, is founding the department for the Crotched Mountain Rehabilitation Center in Greenfield, NH. Hundreds of people at the school currently rely on a department 15-20 minutes away.
“By having a fire department here on the mountain, we can be the first responders to a much needed call,” writes Mosher.
The new department is seeking the following tools:
- Haligan bar
- Flat head axe
- Pick axe
- Pike pole
- Closet hook
- Pry bar Hydrant wrench
