AURORA, Ill. — Two 14-year-old Aurora boys who said they learned how to make so-called MacGyver bombs on the Internet were arrested after they blew up five explosive devices in an Aurora park on Tuesday, police said.

The boys, each cited with one felony count of possession of explosives, told Aurora Fire Department personnel that they made and exploded the bombs, Aurora police said.

About 2 p.m. Tuesday police were called to Stonebridge Park near Eola Road and Stonebridge Boulevard to assist Fox Valley Park District police after two unexploded bombs were found in backyards adjacent the park.
