Scott Safety partners with Cal Fire in equipment production, training

As part of the $12.5 million partnership, Scott Safety will provide 2,400 SCBAs to 237 California fire stations

MONROE, N.C. — Protective equipment and safety device manufacturer Scott Safety will soon launch its $12.5 million partnership with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection.

The company will support the fire department and its 5,600 firefighters through equipment and in-service training.

“We’re looking forward to equipping Cal Fire with the tools they need for success,” Scott Safety global director of sales Trent Smith said. “Our focus now is on delivering the highest level of quality equipment, training and customer service, offering Cal Fire peace of mind and comfort in getting the job done.”

Scott Safety will provide 2,400 Air-Pak X3 SCBAs to 237 California fire stations as part of the partnership. Cal Fire will also have easy access to Scott Safety’s innovation through their distribution partner, ALLSTAR Fire Equipment.
