FireRescue Conference & Expo Announces Exclusive Partnership with Nevada State Firefighters’ Association

Event Focuses on the Needs of Nevada State Fire-Rescue Personnel through New Key Partnership

SAN DIEGO, Cal., The 2006 FireRescue Conference & Expo, produced by Elsevier’s FireRescue Magazine and Reed Exhibitions, has announced an exclusive partnership with the Nevada State Firefighters’ Association (NSFA), the voice of the Nevada rural firefighter for more than 70 years. The partnership supports the efforts of the NSFA to provide Nevada firefighters with the education and training they need. The conference will take place November 7-11 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

As Industry Support of Event Grows in 2006, Association Members Benefit
The partnership allows members to benefit from an increased range of educational opportunities targeted to meet their specific needs, and provides rural firefighters with the opportunity to attend a national conference, complete with a state-of-the-art Exhibit Hall, learn from renowned industry professionals and network with their colleagues from Nevada as well as from across the nation, right in their own backyard.

NSFA members will realize significant benefits from this partnership, including the opportunity to attend 26 cutting-edge conference sessions, including a powerful keynote address given by Chief Billy Goldfeder, view hundreds of products and apparatus and enjoy networking opportunities such as the complimentary lunch on Friday, November 10th. In addition, NSFA members will be able to share ideas with their fellow firefighters at the Networking Reception later that same day.

“We’re excited to work with FireRescue Conference & Expo to provide unparalleled learning opportunities to our members,” said Mike Heidemann, Executive Director of the NSFA. “The partnership will result in real opportunities for both organizations to reach more fire professionals with the quality education they need to stay safe on the job – which complements our motto: ‘Represent, Support, and Promote, the general welfare and safety of All Firefighters.’”

“FireRescue has always strived to deliver focused, relevant information to all of members of the fire-rescue service,” said Ed Nichols, Event Director of FireRescue Conference & Expo. ”We are honored as well as excited to work with the NSFA in order to keep to our commitment to deliver quality education to our attendees and to serve our exhibitors in the best way possible.”
