NEW ORLEANS, La. — New Orleans Fire Department Firefighter Richard McCurley was killed Friday, Dec. 2, 2005 while responding to a gas leak. A fund has been set up for his family and any one wishing to donate can do so to The Ricky McCurley Benevolent Fund at any branch of Chase Bank.
