Minn. fire department snowmobiles to buy new equipment

WANAMINGO, Minn. — Small towns all across Minnesota have seen tighter budgets over the past few years.

But in Wanamingo the local fire department is finding interesting ways to fund new equipment.

“We’re going to incorporate some of the funds for the fireworks and some of it’s going to go into making this rescue sled,” Carl Majerus of the Wanamingo Fire Department said.
