Fire Facilities Inc. Offers New Tower Accessories to Enhance Training

Sun Prairie, WI. – Fire Facilities Inc., a subdivision of Trachte Building Systems, introduces several new accessories to the fire industry that will enhance departments’ live fire training experience.

Annunciator Visual/Audio Alarm Panel allows for 10 switch inputs to light up separate alarm areas via LED lights. Audible and visual alarm components shall act as a warning system to indicate trouble and alarm situations with silence capabilities. These alarms are triggered to simulate fire/trouble for each floor or room via toggle switches. In order to simulate fire/trouble situations a separate instructor box is used to switch on the annunciator panel’s indicator lights/alarm to allow the trainee to determine which area is in need of aid, similar to control rooms in larger buildings. Control box components consist of a 12” x 10” x 6” NEMA 12 enclosure, 120 VAC to 24 VDC transformer, terminal block, 10 toggle switches with boots, 120 VAC electrical service, component assembly, and wiring materials are by others.

Class A Burn Prop – Bed Simulator is 4’-5 ½” x 4’-5 1/2” x 4’-4” tall, resembling a bed with headboard. It is constructed of 12 gage stainless steel panels and ¼” thick prime painted angles. The prime painted bar grate is designed to hold class “A” materials 1’-4” above the floor surface. A sliding/removable stainless steel lid with large ventilation holes shall also be provided.

Class A Burn Prop – Bunk Bed Simulator with Enclosed Top Bunk is 4’-5 ½” x 4’-5 ½” x 6’-7” tall, resembling a bunk bed. It is constructed of 12 gage stainless steel panels and ¼” thick prime painted angles. The prime painted bar grate is designed to hold class “A” materials 1’-4” above the floor surface. The overhead bunk of this unit is enclosed by stainless steel panels.

Class A Burn Prop – Bunk Bed Simulator with Burnable Top Bunk is a 4’-5 ½” x 4’-5 ½” x 6’-7” tall, resembling a bunk bed. It is constructed of 12 gage stainless steel panels and ¼” thick prime painted angles. The overhead bar grate bunk of this unit is also 4’-5 ½” x 4’-5 ½” and provides another area to hold class “A” materials for a secondary fire.

Class A Burn Prop – Stove Simulator with Enclosed Overhead Hood is a 4’-5 ½” x 4’-5 ½” x 6’7” tall, resembling a commercial grade stove. It is constructed of 12 gage stainless steel panels and ¼” thick prime painted angles. The prime painted bar grate is designed to hold class “A” materials 1’-4” above the floor surface. The overhead hood of this unit is 2’11” x 4’5 ½” and is enclosed by stainless steel panels. It includes a sliding/removable stainless steel range top with large ventilation holes.

Class A Burn Prop – Stove Simulator with Overhead Burn Hood is a 4’-5 ½” x 4’-5 ½” x 6’7” tall, resembling a commercial grade stove. It is constructed of 12 gage stainless steel panels and ¼” thick prime painted angles. The prime painted bar grate is designed to hold class “A” materials 1’-4” above the floor surface. The overhead bar grate hood of this unit is 2’-11” x 4’-5 ½” and provides another area to hold class “A” materials for a secondary fire. It includes a sliding/removable stainless steel range top with large ventilation holes.

A 34” solid cast iron Manhole Cover with self sealing gasket shall be used to access floor below. A surrounding cast iron square base/frame shall be provided along with a concealed pick point in the cover.

Tactical Breach Door provides training for ram/kick breaching and shotgun breaching. This is a multi-purpose steel frame and door system that has adjustable opening resistance and is infinitely reusable.
