FALLON, Nev. — The Bureau of Land Management says Dave Jamsa died Thursday after his Single Engine Air Tanker crashed while fighting the Hoyt Fire.
BLM representatives say Jamsa was an employee of Minuteman Aerial Application Inc. based out of Missoula, Montana. He was working a contract out of the BLM’s McDermitt SEAT base.
Jamsa was transported to a medical facility in Lovelock, where he died.
