PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. — A Prince George’s County volunteer firefighter injured in a January crash is recovering ahead of schedule, doctors say.
Ryan Emmons, 30, had his right arm severed in the accident, but doctors were able to reattach it.
The West Lanham Hills Volunteer Fire Department posted video on Facebook Wednesday, documenting Emmons’ progress. “Go, go, go! Look at that... I am so happy,” a woman can be heard saying in the video as Emmons moves his fingers.
