2 Salt Lake City FFs injured after car strikes apparatus

The collision occurred right in front of the fire station

SALT LAKE CITY — Two Salt Lake City firefighters were injured after a car struck a fire apparatus on Monday. 

Salt Lake City Fire Department officials said the collision occurred right outside the fire station. The apparatus was sitting on the apron at the station when it was struck. 

Two firefighters were transported to the hospital with minor injuries, officials said. The driver of the other vehicle was transported by family members; their condition was not reported.
