BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — Three Brevard County firefighters and a pickup truck driver were injured Sunday night after a vehicle crash, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

At around 10:30 p.m., a Brevard firetruck was traveling east on Burkholm Road and approaching the U.S. Highway 1 intersection in Mims, said FHP’s Lt. Tara Crescenzi. The firetruck attempted a right turn onto southbound U.S. 1 when a 2014 Ford pickup truck was also traveling south on the highway. The two vehicles collided in the intersection, Crescenzi said.

Three were injured in the firetruck including a 25-year-old man, listed as the driver, with serious injuries, a 39-year-old woman with critical injuries and a 53-year-old man with minor injuries.
