8 firefighters injured in double apparatus crash with pickup
The three-vehicle crash at an intersection in New Hampshire sent nine people to the hospital

MANCHESTER, N.H. — Two fire apparatus and a pickup truck were involved in a crash in New Hampshire, sending eight firefighters and one civilian to the hospital.
Manchester firefighters were responding to a call at the time of the collision, according to WMUR. Roads were closed in both directions and a traffic light was downed in the crash.
The apparatus involved were the Manchester Fire Department’s Truck 1 and Engine 11, both headquartered at the city’s Central Fire Station.
At least 6 ambulances were requested to respond to the scene, according to FirefighterCloseCalls.com.
The Manchester Police Department is investigating the crash.
