PHOENIX — A firefighter-paramedic died from complications of COVID-19.

Firefighter-Paramedic Miguel Angulo, a 15-year veteran of the Phoenix Fire Department, died from the virus after a “long and courageous battle” with the virus, FireFighterCloseCalls.com reported.

Angulo is the first death attributed to COVID-19 for the PFD.
