COCKE COUNTY, Tenn. — Two Georgia firefighters who were reported missing were found dead in Tennessee, according to the Hinesville Police Department.
The Hinesville Police Department confirmed that the bodies of Liberty County firefighters Raegan Anderson and Chandler Kuhbander were discovered in Cocke County, Tennessee, on June 30, 11Alive reported. Police also recovered Anderson’s vehicle.
The pair had been missing since June 24. Family members revealed that the two firefighters had been romantically involved for years but had recently broken up, WJCL reported.
On June 22, Pooler police responded to a domestic disturbance at the Olive Garden on Pooler Parkway. The incident report states that Anderson walked into the restaurant and confronted Kuhbander while he was on a date.
Pooler Police arrested Anderson after she confronted Kuhbander and keyed his car. The following Monday, Kuhbander called his mother, saying Anderson was constantly texting and calling him.
Police stated that details pertaining to the discovery of their bodies, vehicle and events leading to their death are not available at this time.
