ROCVKVILLE, Md. — A fire captain enlisted the help of his colleagues and a fire truck to propose to his girlfriend.
FOX13 reported that Rockville Volunteer Fire Department Captain Robert James made his proposal to Kathleen Nichols extra special by arriving in uniform in a fire truck with the lights on and sirens blaring and meeting her in front of the town Christmas tree.
“Congratulations Captain James! Earlier today, we supported Captain James with a “Box Alarm” marriage proposal to his longtime girlfriend Kathleen in Rockville Town Square,” the department posted on Facebook. “We wish you both a lifetime of health and happiness!”
