ARLINGTON, Mass. - A Massachusetts man was arrested Friday after hitting a firefighter with his minivan following an argument about snow removal.
Leo Najarian became angry when Arlington firefighters began clearing snow from hydrants and some of the snow fell onto his sidewalk. According to the Boston Globe, the firefighters ordered him to leave the area, at which point he got into his minivan and backed into Lt. Brian Gerra.
Najarian was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, failure to stop for an officer and operating to endanger. Gerra was not seriously injured.
