BERTIE COUNTY, NC — A volunteer firefighter remains hospitalized Tuesday afternoon after a horrible chain of events caused massive trauma to both of his legs.
Bertie County Authorities tell WITN family and friends have gathered at the hospital to support and pray for the recovery of 25-year-old Timothy King.
King, a volunteer for the Trap Fire Department, was responding to an accident in Powellsville Monday morning when a car passing by slid on a patch of ice and crashed into him. A witness tell us both of his legs were severed.
