N.Y. firefighter struck by vehicle at brush fire site

The Cronomer Valley crewmember was flown to a hospital

NEWBURGH, N.Y. — A Cronomer Valley firefighter was struck by a vehicle Thursday afternoon while getting a water supply line for a brush fire.

He was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center for evaluation.

The firefighter has been released from the medical center and will recover at home and follow up with his doctors.
