An Akron firefighter suffered minor injuries while helping to extinguish a fire in a vacant house on Cambridge Avenue early this morning.
Heavy smoke and flames were coming from the house when firefighters arrived on the scene at 5:41 a.m.
A firefighter was injured when he fell through a floor.
The fire, caused by an electrical problem, started in the basement of the home and caused about $25,000 damage.
The house, which was in the process of being rehabilitated, is valued at $45,000.
