MORGAN HILL, Calif. — An unknown Good Samaritan picked up a breakfast tab for a group of firefighters.
ABC 7 reported that around 20 firefighters from different departments ate breakfast at a Scrambl’z restaurant after fighting a grass fire overnight.
The fire departments have a deal with the restaurant that they can eat there and someone from financial services will later come to pay the bill. However, when the person came to clear the almost $400 tab, they found it had already been paid.
Cal Fire Division Chief Jim Crawford expressed his gratitude and said the firefighters would love to thank the person responsible.
