ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. — A volunteer firefighter died Monday after being found unresponsive at a fire station.
Lt. James Goodman, 52, with the Nedrow Volunteer Fire Department, was found unresponsive on the exercise equipment in the firehouse, according to Firefighterclosecalls.com.
Lt. Goodman was also a medic for the N.Y. National Guard and leaves behind his wife, family and friends, according to the report.
Calling hours for Lt. Goodman will be Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Butler-Badman Funeral Home in Syracuse, N.Y. The family is asking that contributions be made in Lt. Goodman’s name to Nedrow Volunteer Fire Department.
