AKRON, Ohio —Two firefighters are on paid leave after being accused of creating a pornographic video at a fire station.
News 5 Cleveland reported that Akron Fire Department Lt. Art Dean and Provisional Lt. Deann Eller, who officials said “were known to be in a long-term relationship,” are under investigation after allegedly posting the pornographic video online, according to Ellen Lander Nischt, a spokesperson for the mayor.
Officials said the alleged video was reported after another firefighter found out and reported it.
City officials said the accusations are “shocking and distressing,” and Fire Chief Clarence Tucker said the incident is not reflective of the high standards held by the department.
“I know this department, and this is not who we are,” he said.
