PRESS RELEASE

ARLINGTON, Texas — A select group of the nation’s most respected fire service leaders will gather at the inaugural Fire Leadership Symposium, presented by All American Leadership (AAL) in proud partnership with the National Medal of Honor Museum, in February 2026. The Symposium will convene in Arlington, Texas, against the powerful backdrop of the Museum — a setting dedicated to courage, integrity and service above self.

A different kind of conference, the Fire Leadership Symposium will focus not on tactics or technology, but rather on the human dimensions of leadership — culture, courage and purpose. The event is intentionally intimate, creating space for real conversation, connection and reflection on the values that define the fire service.

“This is about re-centering the fire service around what truly sustains it — character, trust and shared purpose,” said Rob Nielsen, CEO of All American Leadership. “The Medal of Honor Museum reminds us that the highest form of leadership is service. That’s the spirit this Symposium is built upon.”

Unlike traditional formats, the agenda will be shaped by the participants themselves. Attendees will determine session topics in advance, ensuring discussions are relevant, forward-thinking and owned by those in the room.

Featured national panelists

  • Brian Fennessy, Fire Chief, Orange County Fire Authority — nationally recognized for visionary, people-first leadership across major metropolitan agencies

  • Dustin Morrow, Fire Chief, Central Pierce Fire & Rescue — respected for his operational excellence and servant leadership
