PLUM, Pa. — One person was transported to a hospital for treatment after a fire broke out early Monday morning in Plum, according to an Allegheny County 911 dispatch supervisor.
Two firefighters who were outside the home suffered minor injuries when the rear of the dwelling partially collapsed, Tribune-Review news partner WPXI is reporting. Unity Fire Chief PJ Mudar told the station the two were checked at the scene in the 3200 block of Universal Road.
All of the home’s occupants have been accounted for, according to the station’s report.
The fire was reported shortly after 2:45 a.m. and emergency crews remained at the scene at 5:30 a.m.
The home is considered a total loss, and a fire marshal will investigate the blaze, WPXI reported.
