ATLANTA — An ATV driver was killed after crashing into an Atlanta fire engine responding to a call.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene after the head-on crash on Tuesday night, according to WSB-TV. Firefighters from the engine rendered aid but were unable to resuscitate him.
Officials said they believe the ATV driver was not wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.
The crash reportedly occurred when the driver of the four-wheeler attempted to pass a car in front of him.
