Video: Firefighter beats NFL player in hot wing challenge

Rob Gronkowski, his two brothers and the firefighter had to eat wings covered in blazin’ hot sauce in six minutes with no celery, carrots, dressing or drinks

BOSTON — A firefighter beat New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski and his two brothers in a Buffalo Wild Wings eating competition.

Fast Casual reported that the firefighter, named Jarrod, participated in Super Bowl 50’s “Blazin’ Challenge” with the NFL superstar. All three had to eat wings covered in blazin’ sauce in six minutes with no celery, carrots, dressing or drinks.

In the viral 360-degree YouTube video, Gronkowski clearly had some trouble eating the spicy wings. His nose is seen dripping and his eyes teary.

“That was the hardest challenge I’ve ever done,” Gronkowski said. He claimed winning the Super Bowl was easier than the wing contest.
