HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. — The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office have arrested a man after they say he impersonated a firefighter at the scene of a crash.
On Thursday evening, Hamilton County Traffic Investigators arrived at the 8000 block of highway 58 where they say Paul Herrell, Jr., was found to be directing traffic. Traffic Investigators were approached by Highway 58 Fire Department personnel who say Herrell claimed to be a member of Tri-Community Fire Department.
Highway 58 Fire Personnel says Herrell had once been employed by the Highway 58 Fire Department for about 3 months until it was found he had felony convictions.
