GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. — A firefighter surprised his teacher girlfriend and dropped down on one knee during a school fire drill Thursday afternoon.
MyFox8.com reported that Jessica Smith, a high school math teacher, didn’t know about the surprise proposal. However, school administrators and some of Smith’s students were in on the surprise.
Firefighter Eric Estep’s grand gesture brought teachers and students to tears.
Smith, of course, said “yes.”
“He has everything you could ever want in a significant other, in a best friend and a partner,” Smith said.
