ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. — Firefighters with the Orange County Fire Authority rescued a window washer trapped 60 feet above ground after his harness and lowering system malfunctioned while he was cleaning a building in Irvine.
Photos on Facebook showed the worker suspended near the roof of the OneDigital building on Sept. 27.
Truck 20 and the department’s technical rescue team used the truck’s ladder tower to bring the worker to safety.
The window washer was not injured.
