Survey: Has your fire department embraced online training and high-tech tools?

Spotlighting the various types of educational tools to emerge during a new era of fire service training

COVID-19 forced many companies and organizations around the world to adjust their entire work and training models – in a matter of weeks. The fire service was no exception, with company officers quickly seeking new ways to reach members and support ongoing training efforts.

Some fire departments have adapted to the “new normal,” implementing a variety of high-tech tools (e.g., online learning, virtual reality training, simulators) for members’ continued growth, even through distance learning, while others are still navigating the challenges of modern training opportunities.
