Texas man killed, firefighter injured in brush truck crash
A member of the Greenwood Volunteer Fire Department had just cleared a brush fire before the incident occurred

WEATHERFORD, Texas —A Weatherford man was killed, and a firefighter was hurt in a collision on Dec. 23, the Weatherford Democrat reported.
A member of the Greenwood Volunteer Fire Department was driving a brush truck and tanker after clearing a brush fire when the crash happened in Parker County.
The driver of the other vehicle, Tandyn Moran, 25, died at the scene, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
DPS Sgt. Richard Hunter said that a preliminary investigation showed that Moran’s vehicle moved into the path of the brush truck before hitting it head-on. The incident is being investigated.
The injured firefighter was treated and released.
