OKLAHOMA CITY — Hundreds of acres are charred in another series of grass fires, including one near Henryetta that burned about 75 acres.
Officials say firefighters were able to control a large fire four miles west of Henryetta just after noon Sunday before being called to a nearby fire to the south of the community. No buildings were damaged and no injuries were reported.
Meanwhile, two single-engine air tankers and a fire task force were deployed to the town of Tribbey Sunday afternoon to battle a wildfire. South of Tecumseh, the fire burned about 40 acres by Sunday afternoon.
