Wife says he is breathing better

OKLAHOMA CITY — A volunteer firefighter who was badly burned in a wildfire near Duncan last week is breathing better on his own now, his wife says.
Destry Horton suffered burns over about 50 percent of his body and remains in critical condition in the burn center of Integris Baptist Medical Center.
Horton’s wife, Brandy, told the Chickasha Express Star on Sunday that Destry Horton was resting well, and medical personnel may remove the medication that prevents him from moving.
