BOSTON — Firefighters used an aerial ladder Thursday morning to rescue an injured man from a rooftop.
The Boston Globe reported that the man was taken to a hospital after he reached the ground. He was conscious during the incident, according to the report.
Technical rescue team firefighters rescued the man.
“The easiest way to get him down was with the aerial ladder,” said Boston Fire Department spokesman Steve MacDonald.
The man was strapped into a Stokes basket, which was placed atop the ladder and lowered down, fire officials said.
