WELLS, Maine — A dog thanked a Maine firefighter with a big sloppy kiss after being rescued from a roof.
KCCI.com reported that the pictures posted on Facebook by Wells Maine Police show a dog being rescued from a roof. The dog had reportedly gained access onto the roof through an upstairs window.
“Thank you kisses to Captain Nawfel! It’s pawsatively love! Is there anything more stunning than an animal expressing gratitude?!” the department wrote on Facebook. “Thank you to all that called and helped save him.”
The dog, who had been pacing back and forth on the roof, can be seen licking the firefighter’s face after being rescued.
