CHICAGO — A cat found itself in need of a fire rescue crew’s assistance Sunday morning.
At 10:30 a.m., a brown and black striped cat in a South Chicago neighborhood got its head stuck in a metal garage door at 93rd Street and Baltimore Avenue, said Larry Langford, a spokesman for the Chicago Fire Department.
As the cat wiggled franticly, about six firefighters used tools to chip away at the concrete and pry the metal door so the cat could get out.
Once there was enough room, the cat bolted down the street and rounded the corner.
