Fire company’s ambulance stolen from Md. hospital

TEMPLE HILLS, Md. — Prince Georges County Police have recovered an ambulance that was stolen from a Maryland hospital early Wednesday morning.

Officials tell 9 NEWS NOW police were alerted about an ambulance that was stolen from outside of the emergency room of Southern Maryland Hospital in Clinton, shortly after Midnight.

The ambulance, which belongs to a fire company in Charles County, was located and recovered in the 4800 block of Simpson Rd. in Temple Hills just after 1 A.M.

Police say a suspect was taken into custody. There is no further information on the suspect at this time.
