SUMMERVILLE, S.C. — A man attempted to move a fire truck that was blocking his car in Summerville, S.C., on Wednesday, police say.
The fire crew was working a medical call when Antoine Hamilton, 22, asked them to move the truck, according to Live5News.
The firefighters allegedly refused, as the priority was the patient and not the truck’s position, authorities said.
Hamilton went into the fire truck and put it in reverse, but it did not move because the air brakes were not released.
A firefighter asked Hamilton to exit the truck, and he was detained by crews until police arrived on scene to arrest him.
