INDIANAPOLIS — Two Indianapolis fire apparatus collided when they were heading to what turned out to be a false alarm on Saturday night.
A fire truck and ladder truck both sustained damage when they collided at a downtown intersection, according to IndyStar.com.
Eight firefighters involved in the downtown collision were evaluated and found unharmed.
The collision sent the ladder truck across the center line and into an SUV.
A 911 caller had reported seeing a fire on the second story of a residential structure, with resident evacuating.
